Star Wars has previously made its foray in the realm of thrift shop paintings, courtesy of artist David Irvine. But this time around, things take a classic turn with David Hamilton’s recreation of famous paintings with the Star Wars touch. The original works were created by range of renowned masters from Rembrandt, Vincent van Gogh to Edvard Munch and Ilya Repin. But twenty of such famed artistic achievements were ‘dabbled with’ to make way for the tidbits and tropes of the world’s most famous space-opera. The results are hilarious at worse, and quite impressive at best.
