The UAE-held Games14 has already made its mark as the biggest video game convention in the Middle East. And, the ‘jewel’ of this desert crown was arguably the “world’s first” gold-made Xbox One and PS4, unveiled by Dubai-based retailer Jumbo Electronics.

As we can make out from the images, there is more to these opulent console designs than just the label of being gold-made. To that end, the unique rose gold cases were custom made by exalted Italian jeweller Gatti. And the interesting part is – the ritzy collectibles are not just for the bling show; they would be up for sale for a grand price of $13,699 or Dh49,999.

Now, in case the PC aficionados are feeling left out of the ostentatious scope, worry not. The retailer is also advertising a host of PC gaming products and related offers that might just entice the gamer inside you. And, in case you are wondering about the reach of the video games in the Middle East, this is what Nadeem Khanzadah, Head-Retail at Jumbo Electronics, had to say about the subject –

With the Middle East gaming market estimated to be worth over $1 billion according to Gartner, events such as Games14 play a crucial role in connecting game developers, console manufacturers and vendor-partners with end-users, and help to leverage the growing potential of gaming in the region.
