In the past, we have come across Star Wars-themed buildings, polygonal artwork and even arcade machines. However, this time around we have an incredibly realistic Darth Vader sculpture, by French artist Alain Bellino, crafted entirely with scrap metal pieces.
Bellino has used an assortment of found and discarded metallic objects for his creation, including parts of a tea set, a chandelier, a door knocker and even a candle holder, all of which are soldered together. A variety of carefully-placed brass ornamental pieces form the helmet, while two recycled spoons are used to create the eyes. The sculpture is then chemically repainted to make it look more realistic.
