When it comes to the winter blues, people around the world indulge in a variety of crazy, yet fun, activities to keep themselves happy. For instance, these resourceful Latvian folks have taken to chainsawing their local frozen lake, as a way of beating seasonal depression. The video shows them carving a giant circle out of the ice and, then transforming the frozen disc into a spinning carousel by means of a boat motor. Although it seems a bit risky, skating on this rotating platform does look like a lot of fun.
