Ritz-Carlton To Build Oceanfront Residential Tower In Florida

The affluent in Florida will soon be able to move into the Ritz-Carlton Residences, an extravagantly luxurious tower with stunning private pools, state-of-the-art smart home technologies and even dog-walking services. Located in the city of Sunny Isles Beach, the building will also offer its occupants breathtaking views of the adjacent beach and cityscape.

Situated on a 2.6-sq-km barrier island in the northeast part of Miami-Dade county, Sunny Isles Beach has a total population of over 21,000 people, of whom majority are Russian and Russian Jewish. The city is therefore commonly known as “Little Moscow”, and is home to a number of high-rise hotels and commercial buildings. Ritz-Carlton’s proposed beachfront tower will be constructed on a 2.2-ac (around 0.9 ha) site, and will accommodate nearly 212 residences, along with five penthouses.

Conceived by Miami-based architectural firm Arquitectonica, in collaboration with Italian interior designer Michele Bönan, the 52-floor structure will be equipped with some of the latest luxuries currently available. Each of the residential units will feature an expansive floor space, with ceiling heights reaching to around 10 ft (or 3 m), which will increase to about 15 ft (approx. 4.6 m) in the penthouses.

In addition to its very own private elevator lobby, each of the apartments will be fitted with the latest Gaggenau home appliances, spectacular wine coolers, specially-designed stone counter-tops and Snaidero modular kitchen cabinetry.
