If you like the idea of dining in the midst of nature, you might want to take a look at the stunning Copper Canyon Cocktail Bar in Mexico. Conceived by the innovators at Tall Arquitectos, this conceptual structure is unlike anything you have ever seen. Perched precariously on top a cliff, the cantilevered bar/restaurant offers breathtaking views of Basaseachic Falls, which interestingly is the second-highest waterfall in the entire country.
According to the architects’ proposal, the cliff-side restaurant features two levels, each designed such it provides beguiling, uninterrupted view of the surrounding landscape. The first floor houses a bar on one corner, lined with tables that allow the guests to admire the neighboring hills and waterfall, while enjoying a drink or two. What’s more, partial glass flooring further immerses the patrons in nature, proffering views of the valley below.
The top floor can be accessed by means of a staircase situated close to the entrance. The expansive observation deck located upstairs is furnished with tables, chairs and couches for visitors to relax and breathe in the beauty. The space also houses an open-air swimming pool at the center.
Don’t get too excited just yet, as the Copper Canyon Cocktail Bar currently exists only as a proposal. To know more about the concept, head over to Tall Arquitectos’ official website.
