Glamping, it seems, is becoming increasingly popular among recreational campers and outdoorsy folks. As its name suggests, this kind of glamorous camping aims to combine the thrill of sleeping in the wilderness with the opulence of high-end travel. Glamping has now reached Arctic Scandinavia, allowing guests to admire the mesmerizing Northern Lights from the comfort of warm, well-equipped cabins.
Designed by F.Domes, these spectacular geodesic Aurora Domes are part of the Harriniva Hotels & Safaris in Finland. Situated along the bank of the Torassieppi lake, the cabins’ transparent walls offer uninterrupted views of the starlit night sky as well as the more elusive Aurora Borealis. According to the developers, the location is the first official glamping destination not only in Finland, but also in all of Northern Scandinavia.

I love the fact that you can actually see nature through that see-through wall. Most glamping tents are dark inside and not too roomy
