Spanish artist Guillem H. Pongiluppi’s latest collection is somewhat along the same line as Batman V Superman, although at much grander scale (some might say). Instead of pitting superheroes against each other, the artwork showcases two of the biggest names in the science fiction universe, Darth Vader and Alien Queen, engaged in an epic battle.
The warring duo is joined by Vader’s 501st Legion of Stormtroopers on one side and a host of characters from the Alien franchise on the other. Each of these striking illustrations depicts a scene from the battlefield, bathed in mesmerizing red and blue hues. Speaking about his artwork, Guillem said:
The brave soldiers of the 501st Legion: Vader’s Fist, the pride of the Empire, was fighting in the remote planet LV-426 against the Space Cockroaches. Every soldier from the 501 is braver than ten of those abominable creatures. But the beasts look like they are not giving up.
